im not sure then as ive never used amd graphics cards. mine have always been nvidia and its only happened the once with a 9800GT card 7 years ago on my clevo gaming laptop and mine died as soon as i turned it on. it was a known problem with these cards. was replaced with a 260gtx and still working fine today. it could well be the screen on its way out but if you get another line then thats more like the gpu. one of the best forums fot techy help is NBR who have a samsung section > forum.notebookreview.com/forums/samsung.1011/

On 99% of laptops the GPU is an integral part of the motherboard - APU (CPU & GPU in one) so to replace a GPU in a laptop would require either a new motherboard or a masters in micro soldering it has nothing to do with the manufacturer of GPU. Been repairing - building PC'S for 20 years laptops about 2 years ( hate laptops too constricted) never had a laptop replacement video card in my tool box yet and believe me if it's easy to replace I will have a few in my box.
The BAKING trick is an old wifes tale from XBox 360 rrod days kills more electronics than helps same as the TOWEL trick just a silly myth by people that didn't want to pay for re-balling.

There are less dedicated Gpu's for laptops now, some gaming ones are the exception and the baking method can work but is a hit or miss chance as a little to long in or to high a temp can screw the capacitors, and lots of folks taking the chance have been sorely disappointed, it's not surprising as many know didly squat about what they are doing.

The led screen as far as I know have some soldered wires, around the bottom of the screen area so could be a bad or going bad solder, still it's working for now.
