Once I've used up my flanged cartos, that's it, the tanks will go. Not so long ago the cartos were lasting a month or more through loads of juice flavour changes, now I'm lucky if they last 2 days. It's a waste of juice as well that's inside the cartos. I'm not the only one who's been having this problem recently either. Such a shame, they were great when they worked as they should, I loved them, wonder what changed.

could it be slightly different cartos ? you may have some that have tighter wadding... have you tried poking them with a long needle from the top to try and loosen up the filler a bit ?

The first flanged caro I had with my tank worked great but the next 3 failed miserably with dry hits and then the dreaded gurgle. I have 5 cartos sat here, I will try again but I too am disillusioned with them. Thankfully I since discovered the Visions which I find are great.

Could you just punch an ordinary xl boge to try with the tanks before you completely give up on them?

The cartos are different from the ones that were originally made. The ones that lasted a month had flanges that were completely circular, whereas the newer stock has flattened edges. That suggests (to me) that they've since been manufactured not to last so long and they've changed the shape pf the flanges not only to make them easier to remove, but to tell the difference between the shorter life ones. Not blaming the sellers BTW, just the manufacturers. The wadding's fine Gordy. I've just had to fill yet another new one and it's working great - for now. Yes, the dreaded gurgle. That's usually what happens to mine just before they die, followed by the carto flooding and a mouthful of juice. > Tried punching my own cartos too and they just didn't work at all! I'll have to *try* and find something that's easy to use, holds a good amount of juice and easy to refill with flavour changes, reliable and lasts a long while so it's good value for money. Does such a device exist? Lol

I find the dual coil cartomisers extremely poor in a tank, best thing to do is to punch a Boge XL and put that in your tank instead IMO.I dont rate dual coils at all and have had poor results with them in and out of tanks, total waste of money.Other option is to just buy a good tank like the ACTV3 and use standard Boges which work well for me.You could also cut your Dual coil tank down to fit a standard Boge carto.
