New update for wismec firmware version 3.13 just popped up in my facebook news feed so not sure if everybody seen it. Dear WISMEC Customers: We are glad to release the new firmware version with preheat function. The newly added preheat function allows the device to heat up the coil quickly at a higher wattage, which is especially obvious when using with an RDA, RBA, RTA and so on. It can also prolong the coil’s life and produce a better flavor. Following devices are updated with the preheat function: Reuleaux RX2/3, Reuleaux RX200S, Reuleaux RX200, Reuleaux RX75. update available here www.wismec.com/software/

Hmm. Downloads, but coming up as invalid when I try and open it. I've had that with Joyetech upgrades, if you have downloaded more than one (say RX200 and RX2/3) do NOT put them in the same sub-directory it is quite possible that the exe file will only work with the correct mod even though the exe file will be the same name and size, I just downloaded the RX200S and RX2/3 and they both worked fine (Win7 machine)

Worked OK on both my rx200 but it changed the SS mode (and cut off temp) to Ni on both of them. No problem so long as you notice.

Yes, always best to note what it is set to before upgrading, they normally set it to default Ni mode at 235C same with Joyetech (I use Fahrenheit) pi**ed me off first time I did mine

Cheers guys, I was trying to upgrade my RX200.
I only upgraded to 3.1, 5 days ago with no problems but today's upgrade does not seem to work for me even though it is in a separate directory.
I will try again over the weekend.

Preheat Function The newly added preheat function allows the device to heat up the coil quickly at a higher wattage, which is especially obvious when using with an RDA, RBA, RTA and so on. It can also prolong the coil’s life and produce a better flavor. How to use: 1. In powered-off state, keep pressing the fire button and up button simultaneously, then you enter into the menu. 2. Press the fire button to shift among TCR M1, M2, M3, Preheat Power and Preheat Time. 3. Under each mode, you can increase or decrease the parameter by pressing the up or down button. 4. Keep pressing the fire button or leave the interface for several seconds to confirm wire TCR Stainless Steel 304 105 Stainless Steel 316 92 Stainless Steel 316L 92 Stainless Steel 317L 94 Stainless Steel 430 138 Titanium Grade 1 366 Titanium Grade 2 352 Nickle Ni200 600 Your milage may vary, and different wire types have different TCR values, this is all based on a single round wire. nicked from diff websites to save some googling still not shure about preheat and how to set it
