Probably a different problem but I couldn't get live radio recently. I found a work around. First start an old radio program then try to listen live, if the live program works now, close the old radio program.

Oh no.
Now I am having the same trouble. Many radio programs refusing to play (listen again). I use Firefox and Linux and I have not recently installed any updates.

Some newer versions of firfox have flash by default disabled. I'd suggest install flashblock and whitelist the sites where you need it. This way you don't need to fish about in the 'about config' screen.

Thanks bioxx. I checked in Firefox and it was set to "always ask" which it used to do without any problems. I have opted in to BBC HTML5 Player - still a beta version. Too soon to say if it will solve everything but so far so good. For anyone interested link
