Hi

I've been a member for quite a few years and for along time I was off the cigarettes but after a family death and a lot of truth uncovered I return to cigarettes.

I need to get back off them as I'm so annoyed at myself, I genuinely thought after such a long time being off them is cracked it.

Anyway, I used an evod for a couple of years but I can't get on with it now, I also have an endura T18 which again I can't get on with. I'm really struggling and can't afford to waste money on kit I don't get on with. I'm finding everything too harsh and I can't stop coughing each time, no flavour with any juice unless I add a load of menthol crystals in and even then it doesn't last long.

I really don't know where to go from here. I'd prefer nothing that's too heavy or brick like. Any help would be so appreciated.

What nicotine strength juice you using?
The higher the nicotine strength the harsher the vape, also high PG will also be harsher.

18mg which I used for years. 50/50 pg/vg which I've pretty much always used too.

The T18 should be able to cope with a higher VG ratio, maybe try a 12mg.

Thanks I don't think 12mg will cut it if I'm going to quit again. Would I also not get any taste? Was thinking of changing my set up.

Id highly recommend an aspire nautilus at your stage. I remember thinking it was the best tank ever back when i was at your stage. And cooincidently i have now gone back to a nautilus and im doing very well with it.

Would you recommend it as a kit? Trying to compare prices and if I can get a plastic tip for it.

There's a couple of Nautilus's for sale in the Classified ads kez ( save a few more pennies ) . . . . a standard 510 drip tip will fit either the Mini or full size - whatever material you'd prefer:

Have you tried Tjuice's Red Astaire? As it's flavour that agrees with many people, old and new vapers alike.

Thank you. I have tried Red Astaire it was one I quite liked. My favourite was vapologys very berry cool, I vaped it constantly for a couple of years then it slightly changed and I couldn't take to it like I had.

I was thinking of getting a full new kit, battery too as I might as well start from scratch.

Hi kez I gave up a 20+ a day using a mini nautilus 18mg nic 70vg/30pg juice.
I had tried other set ups but they just didn't do it and back on the stinkies I went.
I found this forum and after all the very helpful advice I got from the friendly guys and gals Ihave been stinky free for a year now,
didn't think i would ever be able to say that but with the right set up you can do it.

its brand new so nobody knows how good it is but its whats called a cage mod and it provides a fair bit of protection for your tank and youll need an 18650 batt for it(might want a full size nautilus)
or a well known fairly well thought of mod

just a box you put the tank on and it also needs an 18650 batt

the other prob you mention of not tasting owt is prob due to whats known as vapers toung (so it cant speel it lol) and that's when because you only vape one flavour you become less sensitive to it
the only way round this is to use 2 or 3 diff juices

as said as you go up in nic strength it gets harsh maybe try some 12mg juice that's 70/30 heavy on the vg side or even max vg juice
I have also found some cheap juices vamp vape for eg are v harsh

Hi kez, as thebishman says, Aspire Nuatilus is the way to go. It is all I use these days and it is coupled with a 20w Eleaf Istick.

I use 24mg ejuice and for the last year or so I was on a 50/50 mix.
However I started coughing a bit on that and I have recently returned to a 75pg/25vg mix and like it a lot better. Plus my coils last 3 times longer.

For me personally, I like my Royal Tobacco Flavour for during the day, then a fruit type mix in the evening with a mixture of Spearmint and Menthol last thing at night.

With new coils I start off at the lowest setting I can, only raising the wattage as the coil gets to the end of its life.

18mg 50/50 is going to be harsh at 14.5w.

Either lower your Nicotine or lower your power to ease your way back into it OR get lower nic liquid with higher VG and even increase the power. (yes!)

I quit (finally) using 18mg liquid at 7w. I soon got into variable power at upped that to about 9w and lowered to 12mg.

I can still happily vape 12mg (although I have none) but tend to use 6mg (and even 3mg) at 14.8w, which is ironically where you are with the Endura T18.

Coughing is normal for a proportion of people. I remember the first time I vaped 18mg on a sub-ohm set up at about 17w and I coughed so bad I considered phoning for medical help!
