I've revisited osdiy blue slush and quite enjoying it now. It needs something though. I'm after sweetness, moisture and a sour/candy note. What can I add to acheive this without affecting the base flavor too much?

I'm new to this but perhaps, add sweetener, or cotton candy (ethyl maltol) by Perfumers Apprentice? They also have a sour flavour enhancer which my help in a low percentage?

For the sour bit, you can buy Malic Acid powder on ebay & mix it with PG or VG @20%.....I'm guesing it would be the same as FA's sour additive & its what Chefs sell too, you'll just have it at a fraction of the price & enough to sink a battleship as you dont need much.
