I have neither the scientific ability to make an informed comment about the accuracy of the relevant claims nor the motivation to put in much research on the subject.
However, I do know that smoking certainly wasn't good for me. We know, beyond all doubt, that there was stuff in cigarette smoke that could be very bad for me. I wonder how harmful - if at all - this ceramic thing might be when compared to cigarette smoke?

Welcome to you automaticasteroids . . . . it's somewhat of a shame that your first post on our forum is of the nature that it is. With respect, it has an element of sensationalism for me. It might have helped your credibility if you had at least done us the courtesy of an introduction first. However, all information on the topic could I guess be considered a good thing - so as we already have a thread currently running, I've merged your OP and all subsequent posts on to it. ( My apologies to Members for interrupting the running order ) I might add, whilst I have zero experience of ceramic coils . . . . doom and gloom warnings have been very much part of our habit ever since I started vaping - I remember similar in relation to using silica and rayon wicking material. If nothing else we are ' guinea pigs ' to an extent and much like smoking it will be down to the individual to make a decision whether to use any such products.

I use ceramic C-cell coils in a super tank mini. Until there is more convincing evidence from a creditable source, I'll continue to use them. I can't imagine that these coils will kill me any quicker than smoking 20/30 roll ups per day.

The information is potentially correct with regards to the detail given but the presentation is tragic at best. Yes ceramic particles can cause the symptoms described in the article but again not if the products are used in the correct manner. No "dust" is going to come off of a wet coil. However, it might if the coil burns dry. MIGHT being the operative word! No decent scientific data, no control measures, no units given. You probably inhale worse every day going about your business. VERDICT:SENSATIONALIST UN-VALIDATED CRAP ***YOUR BODY IS DESIGNED TO BREATHE IN AIR ONLY, EVERYTHING ELSE IS A POTENTIAL HAZARD***

my frying pan is ceramic, should i chuck it? my tweezers i use for brushing the coils are ceramic thinking about it, all that scrapping and heating would cause dust particles, i doubt even a ceramic coil would get that much abuse, i suppose a ceramic coil wet and covered in cotton would stop most of the dust...

sydsut :- Hmmm....Have had to re-wick already. This stuff certainly lasted longer than cotton (which is near enough un-useable with My NETS..) but it's so fragile that it just fell to bits when I tried gently pulling it thru' the coil... Trying it now just as feeder/flavour wicks into the juice well & over the coil....with ol'faithful mesh wick! I'm pleased with this arrangement as the taste is 'neutral' & it means the Magma is getting used again:- I did try mesh 'U' wicks in it before but as I'm forever having to remove wicks for cleaning, just made it too much aggro. Also means that I can play with My Avocado again!... Glad I got some anyway!
