Increasing and reducing nicotine strength in e-juice

I have seen quite a few bottles of e-juice being sold recently quite cheap either because there is 0 nicotine or very high nicotine content.

If I wanted to increase a 0mg juice to 12mg is it as straightforward as adding 1.2ml nicotine per 10mls ?
Also how would I reduce a 24mg juice to 12mg

I am presuming there must be a formula to calculate what needs to be added (vg & PG), would the flavour be affected by doing this ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you add 2ml of 72mg/ml nicotine base to 10ml of 0 nic you end up with 12ml of 12mg/ml.

If you want to half the nicotine just add a no nicotine diluent of equal volume (0mg/ml e-liquid, PG or VG)....
e.g. 10ml of 24mg/ml eliquid + 10 ml of 0mg/ml eliquid = 20ml @12mg/ml
or for a larger volume:
30ml of 24mg/ml eliquid + 30 ml of 0mg/ml eliquid = 60ml @12mg/ml

Yes, flavour will be diluted if adding plain PG/VG, although you could use a 0 nic eliquid (of the same flavour) to do the diluting.

I can work out what is needed manually, but usually just use the "nic combine tool" in the downloadable calculator in E-Juice Me Up.

Yes . . . . whichever way you tweak an eliquid, then the flavour will be changed wrighty ( by how much will depend on what plain volumes are added ) unless you can buy a bottle of premix in a strength ( after tweaking ) that will suit your tastes or a zero nic option if you're diluting a strength down.

I've recently diluted down a Mrs Lord's Orange Marmalade 24mg with an equal amount of Nom Nomz Dough Boy 0mg wrighty . . . . it hasn't actually come out too bad. So encouraged by that, I had a bottle of Druide in the same strength . . . . . decided Solub Arome's Reactor Fluid wasn't a million miles away, so I made up the same volume with it/0mg - added that to my Druide.

Again, it's turned out quite well.
