Cue astronomical price increases if anything ever comes to market ever, at all.
Cue distress for people who genuinely benefit.
Isn't that so darn ironic. I mean, there a billions of pounds spent every year on pointless products/medicines. Many paid for by the likes of you and me through the NHS.
Desperate. Why does everything have to be a medicine? There's loads of therapies out there unregulated. This is only different because (like tobacco smoking and e-cigarettes) all people can see is 'getting high' and/or recreational presumably irresponsible use. Typical.

No one will pay for clinical trials for a natural compound that can't be patented, forcing lots of people to use the black market for a natural remedy No doubt because of the plant it comes from other uses, maybe there is hope someone will genetically modify Indian Hemp to gave no THT and high CBD, patent that plant and do the clinical trials. Yet they let people be conned everyday buying homoeopathic remedies

It just goes to show the double standards, and only money talks in this country! Classic example was the long term use of anti inflammatories reported on most news channels the other day. seems the likes of Naproxen (been on it high dose for the past 2 yrs) Ibuprofen and other similar drugs increase your risk of a heart attack by nearly 40% in high doses, or 19% in low use.
Imagine the uproar if vaping had even a sniff of health issues they would be calling for a ban in hour's. CBD was the one hope a lot of people have for relief from chronic pain, but hey those at the top would seem to rather people struggle on whilst filling the pharmaceutical coffer's

the only parties that will benefit from a ban are those that sell it illegaly and of course the pharmaceutical industry, i could totaly understand if there were bad side effects, but there are none unlike many legal pain relief medicines, we are living in a nanny state controlled by govenments that haven't a clue...
