Hi. Been looking at this forum for a couple of days and have decided to join. I bought a DSE901 back in Dec 09 but only used it occasionally then went off it. I've recently found it along with spare batteries and atomisers so bought new cartridges, but think the batteries and atomisers have passed their "use by" date!!! Am really stuck as to what to get instead. My boyfriend has a Sky-cig and quite likes that and my friend uses VIP. They both look like cigarettes and the VIP has 24mg strength. I am so confused I really want to start vaping again but can't afford to buy a model that I don't like!! Any help/advice would be appreciated. Please be gentle

Hello, From the little experience I have if you want a cig shaped one then a 510 is definitely the way to go, as the parts are easily available and it's easy to upgrade. For bigger/other styles I'm sure somebody else can help

I can't really advise on the cig a likes but I was advised to buy a riva from Jason at vape escape and they are really good, can't see me changing mine for a long time.

Hiya. I too started on a ciggie look a like but the short battery life drove me nuts within a few days. Went on to buy www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151 and can't say a bad word about it. It's bigger and longer than a cig, but the battery lasts me all day.

Dont know if Jason will do it. But might be worth asking him to swap the atomisers for a couple of stardusts, as thats probably even easier for a newcomer. Dont ask, dont get!

Hello & welcome Chirpie Lol, I used to love my DSE901 3 years ago Things have moved on so much since then though However, as others have said, the ciggie lookalikes like Sky cigs & VIP cigs, all have very short battery life & the refills for them are so expensive. It would help us to recommend something that would suit you, if you let us know how many cigarettes you smoke on average a day

Karma has it spot on, the Riva is the best for starting out, go to Jason who is so helpful and he will get things moving for you. Oh and dont forget your e-juice
