I wasn't going to say anything, but feck it, I will go out on a limb here. Based on my 3x SXK's (Provape not FT) and 2x SMJY's (Focalecig), I think lee is correct that the SMJY's are slightly better machined, but the difference is negligable and both clones are top notch. I believe there are two more important differences between the clones though. The SMJY has more air throughput and slightly larger juice holes. I vape at low watts and like a tight(ish) draw and on the SXK I vape typically at airflow setting 2 or 3 and it's perfect. On the SMJY's even setting 1 is too airy for me, to the point where I have now fitted the air restrictor kits to the SMJY's to make them usable for me - although this makes them a bit too tight for me (we need a restrictor for the V5 to match the v3 mini airflow to be ideal). The juice holes on the SMJY's are also slightly bigger, making them more suited to thicker juices and/or higher watts. So, for low watt vapers, thinner juice, or those preferring a tighter draw I would recommend the SXK. For higher watt vapers, thicker juices, or those preffering a more airy draw, then the SMJY is more suited for them. I do not know which clone better matches the genuine. I would guess it is the SMJY based on so many reports from genuine users that it is too airy for MTL. I did not find that to be the case with the SXK at all. It is possible that I have three freak SXK's, but I doubt it as they were bought at different times over a period of a few weeks. All in my opinion of course, based on the tanks I have here, but I hope it helps anyone who is yet to buy one.

I can just about lung hit on the SXK one from FT, but it is restrictive. Also mine is quite a bit airier than the Nautilus on full airflow, but very similar lower down the scale. thebishman

If you are looking for a good single coil rta that is suitable for both dtl and mtl, I would recommend an Augvape Merlin ... Fantastic flavour, velocity style posts, really large build deck and idiot-proof wicking method.

Ill google/youtube that one I'm strictly in the MTL group BUT It was the Augvape Merlin I played with here: linky .Maybe it'll give you a few more thoughts about the Merlin. It'll Direct to Lung pretty well iffn ya remove the optional air reducer it ships with. I got mine from FT. Certainly it is set up for single central coil (with room for a big fancy coil if that's your thing) with big build area. It certainly can wick heavy juice easily. Note, though, I've only "pushed" mine to 18 watts.....

My favourite at the moment is the Steam Crave Aromamizer V2 - I MTL and I love it (with a narrower drip tip and the airflow closed to a slither), the closest to a dripper I've used in terms of flavour...

Just a further bit of info, since my last post i have bought the genuine article, and received the SJMY Kayfun 5 clone from 3Fvape, this comes with the etching the same as the original, in fact putting them side by side you would not tell the difference between them, even taking both apart, the threading is silky smooth on both, (the SMJY being slightly better machined than the SXK)
Now comparing the genuine product with the SJMY i can honestly say there is very little in it despite the price difference, the only thing i found was the SMJY version seems to deliver a slightly airy vape on the same settings as the genuine and SXK version.

And that could be down to different coil and wick differences
