Gone full circle and back to MTL

Well after nearly a year and a half of full blown direct lung vaping I kept seeing good things about the Kayfun 5 (SXK) clone, and the SXK Rosev3.

Well they popped through the letter box on Thursday and I quickly did a build on both.... Wow Flavour city! I thought there was a fair chance I may not like them, thinking they would be too restrictive, but no, I found the sweet spot for me at 23w on the K5, and 14w   on a Nautilus! Lol

The Rose v3 was slightly more restrictive than the K5 for me, and out of the two I prefer the Kayfun 5 . 

I still have another mod ( normally 3 on the go at any one time) with a DTL set up on it for the Time when I want that extra punch.

I've always enjoyed the experience of the different vaping styles . . . . variety being the spice of life and all that, so having the choice is another huge enjoyment that vaping brings into my world.

Yes, same here. I must have tried dozens of RDAs and RTAs but I'm just down to a Griffin 25 which gives the best flavour for me (when the damned thing wicks properly) and now I mostly MTL on the KF 3 Mini, one Triton Mini and the aforementioned SXK Rose 3.

I find that the only tank that'll do custardy type flavours justice is a high power, high airflow RTA but for liquids like Manabush the Kayfun is king.

I too have gone MTL to DTL to MTL. Now seem to be happy with MTL. Variety as Perpetua says is the spice of life, so will probably be back to DTL before too long. But enjoying the ride is what it is all about.

If you read the discussions on the ft version, there are doubts about them being sxk

Also the FT version has no logo on either the body parts or drip tip

The logo also has its use on making the one or two turns to open up the flow valve easier to judge

Ah well if it is a clone of a clone it's damn good in my book, as all threading etc is silky smooth, non of the usual poor machining that you get with some.

You could answer the question and finally kill the question on them

When you unscrew the base, can you see SXK etched anywhere

Then the only difference will be the logo missing if the etching is there

I was looking in the wrong place, there is indeed SXK etched in the outer ring below the build deck
