That I can't say. I know that we're working with Arymi to try to retain as much of the original design as we can while still bringing it into compliance. Selling spare glass wouldn't technically fall foul of the TPD though, so it's perhaps a possibility (although not a certainty).

The kanthal coils were available originally, but they switched over to the newer NiCr version. If there's demand for a kanthal version, we can certainly speak with Arymi about it though.

How long are the coils likely to last, say in comparison to ordinary coils.ie This coil can be re wicked easily but there must be a life span to the coil. This sure does make re wicking dead easy. I want one! Got to hand it to kanger, their sub tank was at the forefront and this looks a great innovation too.

You'd probably expect the sort of lifespan from the coils (we tend to err on the side of caution and estimate around 8-10 fills before the cotton gives up). At that point, you can remove the cotton, pulse it a few times to dry burn off the crud, and rewick. Packs of 5 coils are £6.99, but I'd expect you'd probably be able to stretch a coil out for at least a few rewicks before it gives up the ghost completely.
