I just find it incredibly sad that something which was created in order to make a nicotine habit considerably less harmful, more socially acceptable and a totally viable alternative that harms no one . . . . . has now become so demonised and overly legislated to the point that it is costing decent people their businesses.

The health of the nation clearly isn't a priority, which stinks.

But then we are nearly all aware that health has never been a priority for many years, only money.

Neither the tobacco industry nor the big pharma are at all interested in your health.
They are only there to make money.
If medicines cured people, big pharma would quickly be out of business.

If either of these groups cannot get rid of e-cigs by direct competition, then they have the money to find the clout in other ways.

On the up side, e-cigs and vaping still is big business in other countries and I am sure that some businesses will come up with ways of getting around these ridiculous rulings.

Well Iv always been a law abiding citizen but I'm dam sure I will do my utmost best to still get what I want no need to keep me off the cigs even if it means braking the law sod the murdering money minded TW,,s. Grrrrr it's beggars belief what they doing to the human race.

Although I completely agree with you Mandy, in this case, I'm not surprised they are closing down. Even without the TPD coming in, Trading Standards could have closed them down due Honey Vapes website being completely non compliant with legal online selling regulations

Smoking is bad. Smokers should be denied NHS treatment but should keep paying outrageous, punitive levels of tax on tobacco. Vaping comes along. Tax revenue drops. Suddenly vaping becomes the new demon.

Absolutely scandalous.....

And motorists involved in accidents should be denied ambulance service, or fat people denied the use of public transport etc etc etc.

No I don't think so. Smoking, like vaping, comes under freedom of choice and no matter what rules, laws and legislation is put upon us, let us not get away from the fact that we have chosen to do what we do, just like anyone else who has a hobby, pastime or lifestyle that may tend towards a dangerous or unhealthy pursuit.

However, as Chrissie says, this company did not comply with regulations and I can see quite a few others who are a bit on the iffy side, also shutting up shop shortly. This is perhaps a good thing in that those that are left and do comply with the new rulings, will be all above board and safe to do business with.

lobeydosser - Sorry - I don't think I explained myself very well....

I wasn't saying that I think smokers are bad or should be denied NHS treatment. I was saying it under the title of "Government hypocrites" as "news stories" that have been used before about threats to deny smokers NHS treatment.
