Been waiting for a good 4k one to come down in price but for 200 quid for a 49 inch smart TV I couldn't resist.

At the price you got a bargain, if you still want a 4K in the future have a look at Hisense I can recommend it, this is just one of them and it comes with a 6 year guarantee. They also do updates to the operating system which is based on (linux) Android. www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/hisense/50m3300/hise-50m3300hisense.co.uk/electronics/tvsI have had one for a few months now and other than updating the usb, which caused a slight problem as I had a DOH moment and forgot to try the other usb ports it has been flawless and does indeed do 4K, we tested it out on youtube and netflix.

Yeah I had a good look at the hisense range when I first started looking but I'm waiting for the 10 bit panels to drop to a reasonable price and you can't complain about richersounds warranty as they charge a fortune elsewhere.

Wow that really is a good bargain dalealan I've just paid more than that for a 32" LG Smart Full HD, though it was £100 off. Mind you a 49" would be too big for my cottage

If it does matter.....I would check Netflix has just been added. Wasn't supposed to get released until December but they've updated it. No big deal as I'd never use it as I have an Amazon fire TV with Kodi.

There must be some new technology in the pipeline. That has got to be a clearance price!

Anyone after a new telly?? Just nabbed one for myself. Congrats to your new TV. Since I don't have nor want a TV and of course don't pay BBC tax (also known as TV license) this gives me yet another excuse to buy more mods/tanks/juice. About TV license, I'm not one of those youtube clowns that run after the licensing goons just to insult them. I'm registered with the BBC as a TV-less person they still come to look several times a year.
