E mail notifications stopped working?

I used to get notified on e mail when someone answered my questions but it suddenly stopped. Is it possible to re enable this somehow?

Check your settings in your profile. Go to Edit Profile and then Notifications.

I have checked my profile notification settings as per Bobsbeer 's recommendation and although it is correctly set for email notification if someone PMs me, I only seem to get one in every five ... Definitely something wrong with the email system.

That looks spot on @yinyang & I'm really sorry it's not working

I know that in the past there have been similar issues reported to PB support & the advice has been to untick, save & then re-tick.
