PayPal control freaks

Ive always found paypal quite handy until my bank changed its debit cards to Mastercard Debit - now every time time I use Friends & Family payments they charge me a fee as they think cause its mastercard its a credit card - phone them up and explain its not a credit card and they apologise and return the fee and promise to sort it out ...... then next time I pay using F & F the same thing happens ..........

I have spoken to UK call centre and Indian call centre and USA call centre and they all promise to sort it out but none of them do
Its a free phone call and it always gets the fee returned but its a pain in the posterior having to do it every time ......

I would still pay useing Pay Pal for China purchases every time though

They used to use Maestro Debit and to be honest I'm not changing banks for PayPals f**k up

How hard can it be to check if it's a credit or debit card ???

I'm just annoyed that they always admit it's their mistake and promise to sort it out but don't

I think the reason all the vendors offer it is that, generally, people are familiar with it and more people have a Paypal account than any other card alternative.

Go to the sister site Hotecig, more variety and it proudly portrays the PayPal logo on the Home Page. It looks to me as though the owners are going to be combining the sites in the future and one of the things that's changed is no ability to pay with PayPal on the old site. Also my points balance was transferred to the new site. I could be wrong of course, and both sites will continue.
