Help finding comparable cartos, please

Hi all,

I am looking for a replacement for the Kanger dual coil (horizontal/bottom) cartomisers that are now, as far as I can tell, no longer available.

I know, I know, old style but hey, it's what works for me, or did! I have taken delivery of some Boge cartos but they're 'orrible I use them on my Vision Spinner II batteries so basic 510 thread.

Does anyone know of a product that will meet my requirements? I've searched and searched and couldn't find anything so thought the AAEC peeps would know

Suppose I should have mentioned I was looking for low resistance My old Kangers were 1.5 or 1.8 maybe....

I see Avid Vaper offers these: X2 dual coil but I'm so wary! Hardly worth it to buy one pack, and to stock up seems silly if I'm not sure they're any good.... and I've never ordered from overseas and have no knowledge of the company itself.

How soon do you need them shazza? I have a pack of 50 smok XL 1.5 +/- 0.2 xl dual coil cartos and a wee gripper (rubber a little cracked - needs a wee clean) mod all in

Let me know - would be good to have a wee clear out.

Jane - what is a gripper? I just screw in the carto to the VSII add my tip and go, no idea what a gripper is. I don't even use the cone/cap thingy anymore, seems to work better for me without it. These are bottom coil? Sorry, can't believe my luck! I ask only because these Boge that I now have have a wire coming out of the 'filler' and into the centre bit and I think that is what my problem is (no idea on proper terminology!) and why I don't like them.

Can you still buy these for when I run out? And if they're bottom coil, then yes please!

A gripper is a stealth mod - the carto fits inside the mod (I used it every day for 3 months and killed one when I first got one). ...the casing on the outside is going a bit but nice comfort mod

I have no idea if my smok cartos are bottom coil or not. I just know I have an unopened box of 50 which you can have shazza for £20 and I'll post by the end of the week (as I have vets in the morning and the town post office is horrid - they've closed two good post offices of late) and if you like the smok gripper mod good - and if not no harm (needs a good clean) - believe it takes either 16350 or 18350 batteries (I'll see if I have some of those too - not like I use them anymore)


Perpetua - do you know if the smok's I have will be any good for shazza? - they're just sitting there in a bits and pieces box in my sideboard

I really do appreciate the offer, its just that I'm afraid at least one of the reasons I don't like the Boges I have is due to the wire being parallel to the inner tub (hahahaha sooo tech). If Perpetua thinks these are what I'm looking for, I will certainly buy them from you.

My suggestion to you both ( if Jane is agreeable ) is to pop one in the post for Shazza just to try to see if she likes them first . . . . having been a huge Kanger carto fan myself, nothing that I tried quite compared to them, for my tastes anyway.

The one that you show in the photo (silver) is how these Boges are set up with the wire coming out of the 'filling' and then to the 'tube' in the centre. In the low resistance Kangers you couldn't see a wire at all.

Jane, if you aren't sure if these are bottom coil I would happily pay for you to send one or two and then if the are bottom coil I'll buy the rest too. Would let you know about the rest within a day or two of receiving them
