As for mods getting more expensive, I don't see it looking at the USD price anyway, but just changed Mrs Bad's car battery under warranty today, thank [insert deity of your choice] it was under warrenty, it cost £45 in July 15 and now is just over £80, 77.8% price rise and don't see anything like that in vaping. The closest vape thing I bought was a month earlier 6/15 was 12 x Samsung 25R batteries from FT $53.64 (exgRt 1.48837) = £36.04, today they are $46.92 (exgRt 1.18978) = £39.35. Vape gear is getting cheaper globally if anything, but the 25% devaluation in the pound is costing us more than the saving so it is getting more expensive for Brits, like everything else, at least is not nearly as bad as car batteries though.

One of the dearest mods I have purchased is........ a mech mod. What is the guy on? Most regulated mods are as cheap as chips unless you want a fancy stab wood one, or a purpose/design built mod from an independent private mod builder. Elitism of the finest order. ****
