Low res error

Well that's just my luck striker42 and Get Off My Cloud the boxer v2 keeps giving me low res errors intermittently perhaps once every ten vapes or there abouts. Sometimes a bit longer sometimes shorter. Changed atties, changed coils (all well within range) and they're all ok on the other mods. Cleaned the 510, checked all resistances again, made sure everything was tight but nope it's peeing me off looks like it's going back. After the low res error if I let go of the button it goes back to normal and vapes fine again then oops low res error normally from sleep. Frock it.

Just sent them an email request for an rma so fingers crossed. It mostly happens from sleep striker42 then if I release the button it'll be fine for a bit. Oh well I might have just been unlucky.

Yip. Luckily it wasn't in stock at the time. Not sure wether to just try a replacement or give up and try something else. It's normally Smok mods I don't get along with. Think I might have just got a wonky one so might try another as a replacement as I like the build quality and the hidden preheat settings are funky. (Didn't even know it had them until two minutes ago

Bummer, might be a loose connection of one of the 510 wires.

It's bloody crazy Get Off My Cloud works fine if I keep on vaping but as soon as it's gone to sleep it gives me a low res error. Release the button, it reads the resistance correctly and fire it and it's fine. Might be down to a firmware glitch or something I think.sometimes works no bother at all though. Curiouser and curiouser. The coil is well within the range too.

They're normally pretty good so fingers crossed. Dunno what to get next as a replacement though if I decide not to get another 'un. Been working fine for the last two minutes then another error. You might have hit the nail on the head with a wonky wire. Bit strange as soon as I release the button it works fine again though. Oh well who wants an easy life

It's  no problem stripping them down to have a look. The real PITA is, there's a small sticker over one of the screw recesses, generally top right as you look in with the batteries removed, damage that sticker in any way, FT will void the warranty.

I think sending it back would be the safest option although it might not be the easiest, we all know the hoops you have to jump through with our foreign friends when something goes wrong.

I've pre-emptied the lil sods. Sent loads of pics, explained the error, told them how many things I've tried and you can guarantee they'll want something else haha wouldn't care but the bairn a got a tesla invader 3 what's been dropped onto concrete about a million times and it hasn't bloody flickered. Typical. Knew I shoulda went for one of those.
