Just got some Creme Anglaise from Chefs,but not sure wether to mix on it's own or use in a recipe. My usual Custard mix is @perpetura Mix, so any imput would be appreciated.

Is it the DV one leroy4bz? I tried it on it's own and it was weak to me so I've used it in recipes instead. Not a patch on PVC or CLC.

I find it nicer in a recipe ( if it's Decadent Vapours ) . . . . . as a straight custard mix - I've gone 50/50 with it and Capella's VC, some FVD and a dash of sweetener. It's also quite pleasant, mixed with Capella Gingerbread and Bavarian Cream for my tastes.

Thanks for your input guys. It's Nom Noms version. Guess Ill have to try both ways. Hope its nice on its own, as I've become a lazy mixer and want to make it a simple as possible.
