China delivery

My parcel arrived at processing centre UK on 11th at 12.00,now I'm guessing by now royal mail will have picked it up but do they change the tracking number or is that where it stops tracking?No change since the above time/date,when should I expect it do you think?

I've never had any tracking updates once a parcel hits the UK. Should be with you very soon now

It is rare for tracking to continue in the UK, RM dont seem to be bothered.

Patience is still needed, I've had items come through Heathrow in a day or two, but I've also had others that have been stuck there for a week

Thanks all,I shouldn't be as I know what China orders are like but I want it now lol,had to wait on restocking and it's taken over a fortnight so will be looking around 3 and half week wait so far

a lot of reports this week from people being hit with custom duties on parcels marked over $15 from china.
i know it used to be over $20 but it looks like it could have changed without any notice.

It is parcels valued at over £15 so the 20 dollar value that FT print on the package used to be fine as it was less than £15 but since Brexit, the pound has been greatly devalued and 20 dollars is now worth more than £15.

I have a Gearbest package that arrived with UK customs on the 8th December. Not likely to ever see that.

Fairly sure the RM won't 'do' Asian tracking.

Unless they are getting paid at least £240 an hour.

They are not getting paid at all to track it. The way they are tracked from china is to the destination country. Then it's scanned when it is posted through your door. If you want door to door, DHL do it at a very high cost.

It varies...by quite a bit. My last larcel to hit uk centre took just 24hrs to hit my door matt. 4 days from shipping to my house in total. Other times have taken a week from uk centre

Once it reaches Heathrow, use the same tracking number on the RM Track and Trace website.
There's a section that tells you where the parcel has been in the RM network.
That's what I did last time.
