I'm guessing that markus problem was with the range including gin (cant remember the name) and they did try to sort it out Flavormonks were you thinking Q ? I'd hazard a guess that markus's issue was likely prior to that range . . . . whatever they were, I'm sure we could have provided some reassurance and advice. Which in turn could have saved some angst for him. I can only agree wholeheartedly with Perpetua , I have yet to find a company who are so willing to put their hand up when wrong, and go out of their way to put it right. Absolutely, which is always a sign ( for me ) of a company who make a customer's satisfaction their priority.

Afternoon each, Has anyone else noticed when you order from Chef's that 3 x 10ml bottles of concentrate are posted for a quid, but one bottle of 30ml concentrate gets whacked with the GBP 3.30 post charge Bit annoying as I only wanted the Mexican ice cream in a 30ml, but then added a few others to "justify" paying the higher postage - not exactly logical I agree Your absolutely correct, we get ripped off this way by all sorts of retailers bumping postage. Next time order the smaller packaged items and do a run through first before you confirm the order from anywhere. I just got some hifi stuff from a authorised retailer with 2 year warranty direct from there website and the same retailer has ebay item £40 more with one year warranty, go figure and research before you buy.

The only problem i have with chefs is how long they take to get it to me. Seems it always takes 2 days from ordering until its shipped.
Compared to all the other companies i have used they seem the slowest.

thebishman - I tend to find that happens with "free" postage over 30 quid....paid postage seems to arrive the next day 99% of the time....

See...i wondered if it was to do with that...but im not so sure because the processing time takes 2 full days until it gets shipped. Theeeen it takes another 2 days till it gets to me. Maybe im unlucky or something. Doesnt make it any less frustrating though lol. I spent 60 quid on my last order...so really id expect it sooner than 4 days.

The free postage option is Second Class Recorded, whilst the ' paid for ' parcels go 1st Class ghostrider1971 , so you'll probably find that accounts for the slight time delay. You know, back in my early days of online shopping within the UK I used to think myself lucky if something got delivered in under a week . . . . .

So far bought all my concentrates from Chefs because of the recommendations on this forum. Had three orders and happy with all of them, although I was a little confused when I got more than I ordered. Love how they chuck in a 10ml concentrate for free My only grumble is the website, needs re designing and more bandwidth.

I noticed today that Rhiannon ( I'm assuming! ) has done a bit of housekeeping/re-jigging around the site @tomo, so you might find it a little better. What appeals to my OCD is that the different brands of concentrates are now listed in alphabetical order . . . . . that really used to irk me!
