some advice please.

Hi guys I been using my trusty ipv mini for some 3-4 years or so now and been really happy with it despite the charging port being broken and having to swop batts now.

I had a aspire nautilus atomizer which is 5ml so quite large for what I was used to.

so anyways I went and bought a new bit of kit this morning its a SX mini with aspire atlantis Evo that's only 2ml in size so quite a bit of a drop in tank size

I did ask in the shop if he had a 5ml tank to fit it and he said new regs state that this is the largest size we can buy now so I,m finding it runs out quite fast.

is this right about the tank size and if not where can I buy a larger tank for it, I'm not sure what I'm looking for and not sure what fits what if I'm honest.

and to top it all off Paradise Vape has run out of Drum flavour juice and I have bought 4 different tobacco flavours now and none taste like my beloved Drum so well Pissed off and I'm no longer enjoying vape so much.

any advice on Tanks and if anyone knows where I can buy drum flavour juice would be great.

Yeah there pretty much right about the tank size but not sure if its enforced as of yet.
IIRC the atlantis is Sub ohm with .5ohm coils may be why your zipping through juice as the nautilus is 1.8ohms.

My understanding is that, existing non-conforming stock, already in the supply chain, as of 20th November 2016, (and I think also notified to MHRA) can still be sold in the UK up to 19th May 2017.
Shops and stores are probably however already gearing up to the deadline, after which they cannot legally sell unapproved tanks (which must be <2ml), nicotine liquids in >10ml bottles or 20mg/ml strength, etc.


[ETA] I'm sure that you'll still be able to get a tank, at the moment, somewhere online larger than 2ml, from the UK or further afield. But I'll leave it to others to come up with some recommendations that might suit you.

Thanks for the link will give them a try as I need a back up really as james seems to find it hard to make the drum these days, this is the 3rd time now I had problems getting it from paradise vape, cant seem to get him on the phone either to ask about something that might taste like drum.

bloody stupid rule I liked my large tank can we not buy a larger one from outside the UK?

Also which heads are you happy with the .5s like the atlantis or the more mellow 1.8s of the nautilus.
Bare in mind the .5s will be more heavy on the juice.

Think I would like a new experience 5ml tank hoping to find a top loading one this time, I never really liked the Nautilus apart from the size as the air went moved every time I put it in my pocket and it was bottom loading

Perpetua you cant just replace the glass can you? you have to buy a new longer Atomizer as well I take it? and if yes can these longer ones be bought easily?

I have no idea really about the isub or about sub ohm, I got so used to the plug & play types even this one I bought I,m looking at the controls and thinking theres far to many for me lol

If you have a look on bestcigliquid, I'm pretty sure they have a version of Drum in their NET range. I've tried the Old Holborn and it was scarily realistic although I prefer their cream tobaccos now.

most definitely is if yours is the evo.
Couple of quid cheaper if your buying off ebay.

Might be worth noting if your using the lower ohms coils & your finding the vape harsh you may need to drop Nic levels.

yes I'm finding it a bit harsh above 20w is that cuz its a lower ohms coil is it? I don't know anything about them really just went with what the shop told me to be honest

don't get much vape/smoke coming out like they did in the youtube video review I watched which was always a problem with my old one as well.

I don't know the terminology of what people say which makes it hard as well

can you buy higher ohms coils for the EVO? and would this help? it says standard on the EVO box so not sure what the ohms is with this coil
