I put in a second Chef's order this week to get a couple of OSDIY concentrates that kreed had kindly recommended. I thought this would be a chance to stock up on some mixing bottles too. The usual mixing bottles I buy from Chef's are the 100ml twist cap. They have those bottles but no lids (useful...) but other lids can be bought separately for an extra 30p a lid (hmmmm....) So, due to the pleasure of a zero hours contract and minimum wage gig currently, I thought I would try the 60ml unicorn bottles they sell. I read the reviews and, stupidly, decided to ignore them... In a nutshell, people had said the spout was too small on the bottle lid (for high VG mixes) which caused pressure in the bottles causing the lids to pop off and spill vast quantities of liquid. Therefore, the suggestion from Chef's is cut the spout to make the hole bigger.... I mixed my liquid (70 PG - therefore not "thick") and cut the tip of the lid to make the hole bigger....and....guess what! KAPOW - the lid went flying as soon as the bottle was gently squeezed..... Yep, 45ml of liquid went flying everywhere.....I was/am absolutely livid.... Just be warned - these bottles are cheap, nasty and not fit for purpose.... I have left a stinking review on Chef's site - I will however, contact them separately when I finally get all of the mess cleaned and have simmered down a little more Was it my fault for buying the cheap option bottles? Should have stuck to Tesco travel bottles

Personally I prefer the 30ml bottles that you get on Amazon that were made for Tattoo Ink. I do my e-juice 75PG/25VG and these bottles are perfect. They have a longer spout which is also a bit narrower and fit into a variety of top loading tanks.

Try adding 10% water to your VG. No loss of vapour with out the hassles of treacle like juice.

Distilled water is a lot cheaper than VG and I'm a cheap-skate Jock.

Im even more niggardly, I use up what ever bottled mineral water the Mrs has left for dead. A quick zap in the micro to sterilize and Its good to go. Hell, Id use the stuff out the tap if it didnt taste like toxic waste lol.

I've never thought of using bottled water, but I suppose if it is good enough to drink, it should be good enough to Vape!
