Yeah I've had a look at a couple. I'm just doing colonel custard concentrate to start. Pretty easy. Going to mix 150ml total: 12.5ml nic 72mg vg, 107.5ml 50/50 pg/vg n 30ml concentrate, so going 20% of concentrate. By my reckoning this should be 6% nic or thereabouts. Starting out simple with pre-mix concentrate before I consider embarking on alchemy! This sound about right to u? Cheers

Cheers Yup, that sounds right assuming that you mean 6mg/ml strength not 6% (=60mg/ml!). Note that custard will require steeping after mixing to fully develop/mature.... i.e. waiting multiple weeks before it'll be at its best.

It's pre-mixed 50/50 vg/pg. I'm aware this will give me higher vg than pg in the final mix, as the nic is in a vg base, but that'll be ideal as its a custard flavour. Cheers for the confirmation. I'm going to go n get gloved up n started!

Aye I'm prepared for the steep. Have any of you guys tried cabella vanilla custard? Is it better as one of many ingredients, in a more complex mix, or is it ok as a single concentrate mix?

(You'll end up with a ratio around 55.8PG/44.2VG) For future reference separate plain PG and plain VG are more versatile.

Capella Vanilla Custard is available as version 1 (original) and version 2 and is often used in mixes. kreed or Perpetua, or others may be able to advise what they are like as standalones. AFAIK: Version 1 is creamier, although contains some diketones; regarded by some, as undesirable to vape. Version 2 has the diketones removed.

Capella's Vanilla Custard V1 is probably the most popular flavour concentrate on the planet werticle! It's ok as a standalone, nothing to get terribly excited about ( although vapeable ) . . . . . it's at it's best combined with other flavours, at least one or two to bring it alive. Have you seen our Custard recipes here: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/26864/members-eliquid-recipes-vanilla-collection?page=1Or if those aren't enough then there's always ELR: e-liquid-recipes.com/list?q=vanilla+custard&exclsingle=0&sort=score&direction=desc

Cracked a bottle of juice as a sample after only 3 day steep n it's great! Very surprised. If it's this good after 3/7, can't wait to try in 2/52! She's very smooth, vapor rich n plenty of custard flavour!
