What sort of issues do you have over in Oz then Dave? Nothing too out of the ordinary as far as delivery times are concerned ... but when our daytime temps often hover around the high 30s and often give 40 a decent nudge, I'd rather my PG and VG based stuffs not hang around in open hot cargo sheds or, worse, in full sun for any period - especially when I want the stuff to last.

Sorry, I meant more in the way of restriction on what you can and can't get...nicotine , tanks sizes etc

...Sorry, I meant more in the way of restriction on what you can and can't get...nicotine , tanks sizes etc Oh, sorry - misunderstood. For most states in Oz, basically - unless otherwise allowed for under tobacco exemptions (for smokes), or provided by the Therapeutic Goods Act (for gum, mist and patches or stuff prescribed by a doctor) - possession of any nic is illegal - for vaping or not. Even farm grade pesticide nic is banned, that was removed from hardware stores in, I think, 2009. Whilst the ruling about nic is set by the Commonwealth (via poison/medicine scheduling), it is a state responsibility to enforce and police. Customs are Commonwealth and so far do not police importation of liquid nic. So we still, so far, receive our imported nicotine. But many of us uneasily watch the news for changes where Customes might be asked to police current state rules...... Each state sets it's own rules for hardware - and in Western Aust (where I am) the sale or supply of hardware is also illegal. Meaning, for example, it's against our law for me to give a neighbour a vape device. Possession of hardware is not yet against the rules here. So no vape shops here, the couple we did have were forced out a few years ago. Other states in Oz are not yet quite so draconian for hardware and some even have vape shops. WE have no particular hardware restrictions as you do with the EU TPD - none of that 2 ml tank size or other rules. In some states it's OK, in ours it isn't. Simple, cut and dry. They just don't want us vaping. To vape in Oz, and especially in West Oz, you must have an internet connection.

I've got 2 litres in the freezer and according to my vapocalypse calculator thats enough for about 4 years @ 3mg so I'm probably not going to buy any more unless they start selling unsold stocks off close to the cut off date.

It is really astonishing that the authorities ain so many countries cannot see the advantages in health that vaping offers over cigarettes,. Whether this is deliberate due to tax incomes from the tobacco products or more disgusting financial incentives...backhanders being dished out. Surely in the end people power will win, and the overwhelming evidence that is out there. Unfortunately the USA seems to keep providing lunatic stories that ecigs are worst than the combined diseases of the ages, and every negative story seems to carry much more impact than all the positive ones setting back the pro ecig case

Surely in the end people power will win... I think we all share that hope. ** In the interests of the OP and original aim of this thread - nic base suitable for DIY types is soon to become hard to obtain in the UK and is always at risk here in Oz ... so make sure you stock up!

2.5 litres - I mix for my OH, a mate and myself, and we are all down to 1.5mg, soon to be lowered to 1mg, so that should last us a few years! By then I'll either be on 0MG or something sensible will have happened (no, I'm not holding my breath!). Might even get hold of another litre if funds allow before the start of May . . .

I have 6 litres in my new dedicated freezer in garage. That would last me out but I mix for my son and his wife who are both on 12mg. I don't lean on them to reduce because I would rather them continue at 12mg than go back on the stinkies

it is not just the higher strength unflavoured nicotine that is going extinct after May 2017 A HUGE number of off the shelf nicotine containing e-liquids will vanish overnight! 90%+ of the choice of flavours and mg strengths available at this point in time are NOT going to gain TPD approved. If you have a favourite ready made it might be worth stocking up in the next 3 months.

If so could eliquid manufacturers just sell one shot concentrates in one bottle, VG/PG base in another bottle and nicotine shots in another and get around the TPD regs that way?

I voted 2.1-3.0 At the moment, when my favourite juices run low, I am topping them up with VG and flavor, so some of my juice is almost entirely VG now and not far from zero nicotine too. It's called "The science of self-delusion".... I am hoping I won't notice I am not-so-sneakily leaving the Nicotine level un-quantifiable.
