I am off on holiday to Spain later this month. Does anyone know the regulations/rules about carry vaping supplies to last me a week through customs. The thought of trying to explain to a Spanish customs officer that the 30ml bottles of liquid is only e liquid and not liquid heroin frankly scares me. Not to mention the e go t batteries are not going to be used to power a shoe bomb. tia

Not to mention the e go t batteries are not going to be used to power a shoe bomb. tia I just flew back from Spain last week and go twice a year since I started vaping. New rules are no rechargeable batteries in your hold luggage so my batteries went in my hand luggage (2 x ego batteries a VV ego battery and a SDK) I had a SDK with a cart on and did not put any tanks in my hand luggage. I had a 30ml and a 10 ml in my suitcase and a 10ml my missus put in with her cosmetics in a clear bag in her hand luggage. As always no problems. I vaped the SDK in Bristol airport smoking area and had a little toot on the SDK in the plane loo. I also went to New York last month and did the same with even more tooting in the loo and even a couple of stealth vapes when I was in my seat on the plane. I also fly to Jersey 2 or 3 times a year and take my e-cigs there. The only time I have ever been questioned was a couple of years ago in Heathrow flying to Thailand when I had a ego, atty and 10ml of liquid in a clear bag in my hand luggage. A lady security officer asked what was in the bottle I told her, she asked if it was OK to do a test on it (for drugs I assume) I said fine she did then handed it back to me with a smile and said it was fine. So in conclusion, no liquids over 100ml in your hand luggage, put them in your suitcase. Put your batteries in your hand luggage, have a great holiday and DON'T WORRY! P.S. The Spanish were intrigued about my E-cig and I was even allowed to use it in the bars I went in to. PPS Where are you going?

No problems taking any vaping gear through security. But all liquids will have to be in a clear resealable plastic bag. Better to show security when you go through the scanner though, just to be safe, but havent heard of anyone having one taken away.
Might have to stealth vape at the airport too.

It would be really good to 'sticky' the info Des has given as this question will come up a lot once we're fully into the holiday season! I'm not going to Spain until October by which time i will have forgotten this useful thread

Thanks Des and others I'm flying to Alicante this Friday Was still a bit apprehensive, despite assurances from others previously, but feeling better now Worse ways it all gets confiscated i got a 15 minute journey to Kev's new place Does it definitely have to be a zipped bag? I've just got a clear freezer bag with a few "overpriced under 100ml toiletries"

Just got off a flight home today, with easy jet, Newcastle to Blefast. All juices (10ml and a 5ml bottle) in the resealable plastic bag to go through security and no problems or questions asked. Riva/Ego batterys were in my case in my coat pocket which went through x-ray with the rest of my stuff. Taken back out of resealable bag and put back in my case after leaving security Vaped quite happily in the departure lounge, sat in the middle of the passenger area. Wasn't big plumes of vapour and mostly downwards so probably noone even noticed. Smoking is mentioned over the tannnoy onboard the flight as not allowed. Only mention of e-cigs is in the in-flight magazine, and again not allowed, but I was very discreet lol I have been asked before what the liquid was and was it for e-cigs and what flavour, I said yes and it was LNB and the chap told me his mate "John" was a e-cig guy too but on a different shift today, so I gave him a few cards to pass along lol If your juices will fit in them, the bags we get from Paradise Vapes and Vape Escape will suffice as a resealable bag, that's what I used. Once the top is folded over and its in the tray I dont think they worry to much about how big the actual bag is.
