Evening each, I'm a new TFV8 user I've had a couple of successes with juices - Ice cream man mint choco and my home made Kreed custard are both amazing - the best flavour I have experienced....however... 1) It leaks like a leaking thing that like to leak (Even after filling with the juice holes closed) 2) The juice hole on the top seems, to me, ridiculously small - I find filling it from a bottle (without a pipette) really painful 3) The power drain at 80w on twin 18650's (bottom end of the power range?) is absolutely staggering.... I know at least a few members are big TFV8 users Any tricks, tips and advice much appreciated

I will add that i may of had a drink or two when i tried filling the thing and lost the plot with the pile of junk and i never did get to see if it vaped any good as by that time it was rather dead.

@broadblaster - If I wasn't enjoying re-watching the second series of Sherlock so much, I think mine might have had a high velocity, solid connection with a wall tonight The amount of juice I have "lost" is absolutely staggering - I'm so pleased I DIY otherwise I would be a tad more miffed with it

I know this is not what you want to hear, but I have 3 TFV8s, a Baby Beast and Big Baby Beast, not really had any problems with them, have not had leaking, which wasn't of my own making (leaving airflow open DOH!), yes a bit of juice coming out the Air-holes when they are tipped a certain way, causing it to run over the fingers, but nothing major. As for filling I presume you are using the stoopid bottles that have a screw out nib - they are useless for the Beasts or the TFV4s, I mainly use either the glass dropper bottles, needle bottles, a syringe, or my favourite: bottles with luer lock caps onto which I fit luer lock plastic needle tips/blanks.

There is a problem with the smok tfv8 coils from the start. The rubber don't sit flush on the bottom of the coil where the wires stick out. So that's where the leak is coming from. I do get the ump with smok they should fix the problem. But all there worried about is getting the next tank out! My aspire Clieto 120 tank performs just aswell. Hasn't not leaked once don't matter how you turn it. This is my go to tank for sure.

This was the problem with the coils from day one. And they still haven't fixed the problem. Don't get me wrong I love the tank but after spending out £20 for a pack of coils I shouldn't have to repair them aswell.😀

I must be lucky both my Tfv4's and v8's have performed flawlessly, in fact I would go as far to say if I wanted to pick a tank I could be sure it would not leak they are my first choice.
And to top it all my coils came from GB or FT and last about a month each. Now if you mentioned the Griffin 25 that's the biggest pos I had the misfortune to buy!

I found the TFV4 range to be utter tripe, I've still got one brand new sealed in its box and probably 10-12 unused quad coils. I wouldn't even consider digging out the mini and full size ones that I have used to see if they can be redeemed. My niece has an Alien and baby V8, only problem she has is short battery life. Griffin...only way that I can get mine to work faultlessly is with 60vg menthol. Your guess is as good as mine.

I have mixed emotions on the tfv8 and babybeast, the tfv8 leaks intermittantly due to the issues mention above, sometimes it can be fine for weeks then a change if liquid and boom, pearshaped and gone south fir the summer, time fir a strip down and rebuild. As fir the baby beast, I do enjoy vaping from it but as its such a small tsnk size I keep firgetting to check how much is in anb keep burning my coils out grrr So I use the above now and again and just keep returning to my griffin 25, which now seems to be my old faithful.
