Mech all the way for me. Wish I could tell you why, I think it's a size thing.
I never go below 0.3ohm and my sweet spot is 0.4ohm using 24g N80 wire and the vape it gives me is perfect for me

Better than all that fancy multi strand stuff. Agreed! I've tried claptons and its really not for me, a friend gave me some alien wire a couple of weeks back and I really don't get it. I thought i was fancy using nichrome but it turns out I'm a bit of a caveman when it comes to coils lol |

I was more into the regulated side of Squonking, but the simplicity of a mech is slowly taking over lol.

I was very cynical about claptons, aliens etc - but found myself getting some really good results in single coil setups in terms of flavour so began to choose them more and more, have gone on to try SS claptons. I am careful with the build, though, as vaping at very high watts is not my thing - so ramp up time can be a pain (press button, go and feed cat, return, get some vapour....), also, I tend not to like Claptons in Mechs.  |
