Please, please keep this thread Steve F (or another linked to it) as the Tanks I enjoy Vaping are all 5ml+, so non-TPD compliant. I don't expect all my current Tanks (or Drippers for that matter) will last forever without replacing some bits. It's threads like this one which address "I like the kit I've got, any ideas on how to keep it going?" are invaluable. I don't like, nor can afford, new gear every month or two. Work arounds are what lead to new ideas, not just in Vaping, and as I intend to Vape for a good while yet, I could do with some ideas and will probably (I hope) manage to input some. Cheers for the thread and feedback so far .

Well I wasn't expecting a 2p? rubber insulator to be the main contribution to a £40 atomiser going bad. I suppose when I finally wear the clamp screw threads out they will be officially dead. That is unless I can tap them out to 3mm.
Strange though isn't it that after years, decades, of watching our money go up in smoke we hang onto atomisers like gold dust. Even the relatively cheap ones with a throwaway life span. A bit like our favourite Clippers.
Anyway the moral of the thread. If your Aeronaut goes all Pete Tong; before you start to pull your hair out...... check the 510 pin insulator, it can be replaced with one from a Subtank mini base.

I do find I get attached to particular Attys (well I have 3 Serpents and several igoL's) but I did spend 30+ years on 3 Brands of Baccy, so I suppose thats the same kind of habit forming?
