It seems there are some bitter individuals out there who take great delight in bringing
other vape forums down.
We are on the same side, fighting the same war against the same enemy (Big T)
We need to unite.

Just had to delete a user who thought it would be fun to post a scat porn video in the squonking section of our forum.
I know we will come against this evil from time to time
but it was a female member of staff who had to deal with it and that is why i was angry

That's understandable, I should think most forums likely have issues similar to deal with it's just we don't get to hear about it.

Thank heavens for Mods not getting too upset. It's easy enough to delete accounts, and I think the Mods on here are quite forgiving!!

T'is the season, always ramps up just after Christmas and new year has passed have seen it year on year for quite a few now, you might also note a upsurge in spam emails IE lottery, HMRC, viagra etc paypal is a frequent one and DHL, DPD, and others.

@tmfkatubthumper I'm guessing you have already banned their IP? However if it's a Dynamic one, it sadly wont stop them getting back in. Hope you also banned their global ID?

I know that one forum I use has user tracking match which can be useful and helps with tag teams using the same ip.

They were banned by one of the staff then i deleted their account
We now have email confirmation on sign ups
If they reappear i will take your advice and ban their global ID

That wont stop them

They will be using automated software with hundreds of email addresses and just as many proxy ip's

As well as email verification, you will need some kind of captcha system

The best ones to use are questions and answer type and the more questions and answers to rotate through, the better

Blocking ip's is a pissing in the wind exercise

I'm an ex internet marketer and in the past, I used to post 100,000 links a day using automated software
