Cartomiser users please

Does anyone use the mega cartomiser? Can you tell me how long they tend to last please? Have just bought some of these but have now read that you can only refill them once or twice, so disappointed at that.
May have to change to mega atomisers and cartridges if that is the case!!

They are sold as disposable but I am tending to get quite a few refills out of them. Haven't actually kept a tally, but that fact in itself suggests I am getting a lot of use out of them - more than I get from normal cartomisers for sure.
They are my favourite vape at the moment.

I'm getting 3 refills out of mine.

on the 4th, I can notice a drop off in vapour, so I just settle for the 3 now.

I can't seem to get much liquid in the refill, it comes out of the bottom, (the atomiser bit), should I leave it to soak in? ??? I'm using a syringe

Sorry Pixie, I can't really help as I've never tried the Mega cartomisers.

I've never tried the mega cartos either - surely one or two of us have?

I refill my standard cartos remorselessly all day until they "drop off", as Bucko says, or get a bit unpleasant.

However, all is not lost when you've gone thru all your cartos - see this guy valiantly simmering them clean



Also, I wonder if you're refilling them down the centre hole instead of around the edges? Maybe it would be worthwhile trying the "condom" method of refilling - use the silicone cap half-filled with liquid and slowly push the screw end down into it (I'm saying "screw end" because I don't know what's inside the mouthpiece end of the mega carto).

Half a cap is me being conservative.

Since I took up using a drip-tip with carto, I now remove the d-t and, holding the carto at an angle, drip straight from the bottle whilst turning the carto a few degrees at a time, so distributing the liquid around the inside edges and letting it soak into the fibre. Maybe you could try the same with your mega.

I refill mine through the hole in the atty end not the mouthpiece it's less fiddly this way and i have refilled countless times and it still vaps a treat, use a 5ml bottle to drop the juice in it's easier, and be patient it does take a lot of drops. i dont think you can use the condom method in these as they are too big (i think thats what i read anyway)

for the mega cartos, I use a syringe, fill it with just over 1ml, sometimes a tiny bit of juice seeps out of the end of the carto while filling, but it isn't much.

sounds like you're either overfilling, or re-filling the carto too early, ie. the carto still has juice in.

it's all guess work like.

Should have mentioned it's the mega cartos for the Tornado i have and this method works fine in them.
