Afternoon each, Having seen on Chef's they have a new range of concentrates for 11 quid for 30ml (Damm my Korean keyboard with no Pound sign!) and I'm sure I saw some concentrates a few weeks back for 16 quid on another site - there seems to be a bit of a trend of prices creeping up. On the flip side, the new super concentrates could be an absolute bargain for 1.89....if any good What are your thoughts on: 1) Concentrate prices 2) Concentrate fads and trends 3) Will prices keep going up? 4) How much will you pay? Another thing is the concentration of the concentrate - when I see 10+ quid for 30ml that needs to be mixed at 25%, I start to have second thoughts... Sorry, this turned in to a bit of a mish-mash

I seem to be settled on just 2 concentrates at the moment which I mix at 15%. I purchased a 100ml of each last month from thee-cigshop for £16.00 including postage. They are Solub Arome concentrates which are sold at £6 per 100ml I like to keep costs low and after much messing around with different recipes just find that these work for me

All the prices that are basically connected with Vaping are going to rise, no doubt due to the new rules enforced by the "Brussels Sprouts". The ones that are likely to remain reasonable are those that are used in industry like PG and VG.
Flavour concentrates have always been a tad expensive, but there are ways of getting around that by buying in bulk. However you have to be sure of what your basic, most of the time flavour will be, before you splash out on a bulk buy. I have invested in 1.5 litres of my favourite flavour concentrate and although I am hoping that it will always be on sale, I have already seen it rise in price over the past year, so I am quid's in for the foreseeable future.

I do balk at paying over £10.00 for a 30ml bottle of concentrate must admit ghostrider1971 . . . . . especially when there are already so many great one shots to be had at a considerably lower price. ( Not forgetting a fantastic source of recipes on ELR. ) Although I do try to take into account the creation process that has gone into a particular blend, even so I'm not that desperate to invest so much when very often I make one mix from a bottle - then I'm bored with the flavour. Horses for courses isn't it, if it's worth that price to someone and they feel it represents value for their money, then it's a personal decision.

I think £10 for 30ml is ok i can live with that if its a good one shot, Above that i would start to think this is a bit much and go back to buying separate flavours and mixing my own again. Fads for flavours well TBH that has and will continue to happen same with mods and tanks / squonks thats just the nature of the beast How much will i pay well only time will tell as we won't have any choice if they all creep up

Sorry, this turned in to a bit of a mish-mash Interesting thread ghostrider. I have been thinking the same recently. I put a comment up not so long ago about the conc prices creeping up but im sure i got shot down for saying it. Business wise.. i guess it ways always on the cards for prices to go the nearer we got to tpd. I havent noticed to much trends for prices to be whacked up for popular flavours. My price limit is hard to say due to the percentages being so different. But say 20% strength bottle of 30ml conc will make 150ml... unless i absolutely love the juice then i wouldnt like to pay over 10 quid. But i would have to love the juice for that. Im still getting to grips with a rotation of my fav juices so i have some that cost little and some that cost alot. I do always try and wait for discount codes to make the pricing better for me.

Without going in to a Robert Peston I do find the fluctuations in price interesting and the marketing and packaging that goes in to some concentrates now seems to replicate the horrors of the "premium juice" fiasco I think value is possible. For example, the VHM range is excellent and at 4 quid for 30ml I think that is a very reasonable bargain. Does anyone think with the TPD we could possibly be flooded with new "premium" range concentrates (which don't fall under the TPD?) with some less than scrupulous "entrepreneurs" looking for a fast buck?

Time will tell I guess ghostrider1971 . . . . I don't get caught up in the hype of anything really, so I'll continue to purchase from the known and respected Vendors who aren't out to fleece their customers, whether they stock any potential ' premium ' blends or not will be immaterial to me. I did also have a further thought on cost, if Vendors buy in dollars from US flavour houses for example - then as we know sterling isn't faring too well against it, so there is only so much extra any Vendor can absorb if they wish to stay to business. Not that this excuses a urine extraction pricing structure . . . . . .

20 good fags around £10.00, lasts 2/3rds of a day and possible cancer and heart disease thrown in for free, against my favourite Dinner Lady Lemon Tart at between £11.99 and £18.99 (cheapest prices I've paid recently) for 30ml and 60ml respectively and lasts for 3 to 6 days, concentrates I like such as VFM and RA work out much cheaper. That's the only comparison I need to make.
