Do vapers necessarily need to see the vapor they breathe out

Hello everyone!


Is it important for you to see the vapor you breathe out while vaping?
(I know it is for me.)

Do vapers necessarily need to see the vapor they breathe out?
How so?


According to my experience:

- I was a teenager (France, mid 80's) when I started to smoke tobacco. Smokers looked really cool and classy to me then. To be seen expelling that toxic smoke with style: "So cool and classy".

- Quickly afterwards, I mostly smoked without especially being seen. I hardly saw the smoke I breathed in (I needed to feel it though - throat hitting), I clearly saw it when breathed out. I needed to see/acknowledge something toxic/bad expelled from inside, from my chest. (This leads to root causes obviously.)

- Then I simultaneously started vaping. I asked the salesman for a vaping kit that provides a thick, intense, throat hitting vapor (imitating smoke). Seeing/acknowledging the expelling of the vapor but, this time, in a harmless way.

- Then I quit tobacco smoking. Feeling the vapor in, seeing it breathed out are still important for me. Along with the pleasure vaping can provide ♫♪

In a word yes . . . . as it gives me the ' smoking ' sensation, minus the actual smoking part.

Yup. i raised the VG/PG content from 50/50 to 70/30 solely for that reason when starting out mixing my own.

Vapour is one of the things that distinguishes vaping from nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), such as patches, gum, etc.
For me it is an important aspect of mimicking smoking.

Yes although i have recently reduced my VG ratio down from 70% to 50%, i wasn't getting the throat hit i wanted with high VG.

I don't even need a throat hit these days.
Big clouds and big flavours is what I like. Without any vaper coming out it would feel very underwhelming for me

Yes. I hate stealth vaping and not seeing anything much... it makes me feel I'm vaping a cig-a-like, only worse.

Absolutely yes, completes the mimic of smoking for me. Can't stand holding it in like I just have whilst out for a family meal, was damned if I was going outside it's only 4 degrees out there so stealth vaping it was for a few hours.

Tonight and every night I'm with my friend he moans about the what he calls smoke but I call vapour.
Seriously if you could vape and get the nicotine and flavour but no clouds would you be unhappy?

Flavour and throat hit are most important to me
Could i live without the clouds, it would be strange at first
but i could live without them.
Another thing to consider is, if there were no clouds
there would be less complaints from the non smoking public.
