Hi All
I'm new to this blog and still quite new to the whole vaping thing. I use a JWell Arex 1500 which I like it a lot of ways but which has a tendency to be a bit temperamental so I was looking to buy another as a spare but can't find one anywhere! I tried the Kanger EVOD Mega which I didn't get on well with at all, you seem to have to suck very hard to get anything at all, but I know Kanger used to do one similar to my Arex and that seems to have been discontinued too. Can anyone suggest hardware that would work for me?
I really haven't got my head around the technical stuff but this is what I know:
I like the variable airflow of the Arex but usually have it set to fully open I like the pen style I use Aspire Standard BVC 1.6 Ohm coils because that's what the shop I bought the Arex in recommended I like that the Arex is top fill and that you can vape while it is charging I use Vapemate liquids, 50% 6mg which seems to suit after a fair amount of trial and error I don't want huge clouds of vapour, I just want to get what I need to stay off the nasty cigs!
Many thanks in advance
Mia

Hi mia. I don't know the Arex, but the de facto starter atomiser is the Aspire Nautilus. I'd suggest you have a look around on youtube for reviews and see if it fits the bill...

Thank you for the suggestions. The Nautilus looks good except that it is bottom fill (I've edited my original post as I forgot to mention top fill and vape while charging) so the Triton may be better and it's also intended for mouth to lung. I'm still at a bit of a loss as it doesn't come as a starter kit, I think maybe I need to go to a shop again.

There are two standard atomiser connector types 510 and ego fittings, the Triton tank has a 510 fitting so any battery/device you find that says it has a 510 fitting it'll work with providing the device also operates within the resistance range of the coil you are using. I can't think of any really that wouldn't work with a 1.6ohm coil.

Thank you Get Off My Cloud but I think I will give the Triton Mini a go if I can find a shop to simplify all the permutations for me!

Welcome to you mia . The Nautilus looks good except that it is bottom fill (I've edited my original post as I forgot to mention top fill and vape while charging) so the Triton may be better and it's also intended for mouth to lung. I use the Triton Mini regularly, it's a great little tank . . . . the only downside which could get pesky perhaps if it's your sole tank, is the drip tip assembly needs to be unscrewed and the top cap setting opened/closed for filling. It's not a major deal but could be worth consideration. The new Nautilus 2 which is top fill, uses the original Nauti coils so is mouth to lung - you might want to take a look at before making a final decision. www.ecigaspire.co.uk/shop.php#!/Aspire-Nautilus-2/p/79494307

Plus 1 for the Nautilus 2. I've had one a couple of weeks, cracking little tank, easy to fill and no leaks.
