My darling sweet Kiki was off her food on Friday & by Saturday morning she was very subdued. Got her to the vets & they kept her in to put her on a drip & run tests. Blood tests were inconclusive apart from showing she was anaemic. They kept her in overnight & the vet rang me this morning to say she had gone down hill fast & wasn't responding to anything  She said they could do x-rays & scans to try & see if there was a tumour somewhere, but felt it was unfair to put her through any more I held her while she went to sleep for the final time  RIP sweet angel  |

Thank you everyone  It's such a shock as she was fine until she only ate half her breakfast on Friday morning & didn't want her evening meal at all. I've got two other poorly cats at the moment Sasha (15) is in the first stages of renal failure & Isaac (15 in August) has an inoperable mass in his abdomen but both of them are responding well to meds. Dear sweet Kiki was only 11 |
