Chrissie we give them love and they repay it in spades. My legs aren't that good at the moment, we took in a cat a few months ago, she was frightened and timid.Now the little devil won't leave me alone in the nicest way, If I go upstairs for a wee she runs up the stairs in front of me and when I've finished she hops down the stairs and stops a few steps in front of me until I get back down. I've been where you are in the past, a 6'3" hairy assed rugby playing police officer crying his eyes out as I held my cat as she had the injection. I feel for you, regards Paul

So, so sorry to hear your sad news Chrissie . . . . . I know how much your furry companions mean to you like many of us on the forum. 
I remember when you first rescued Kiki and I'm positive that in the time she was in your care, she couldn't have wished for a more caring or loving owner.
