.. taller single coil B/F rda?
I'm used to my Aeronauts and although the Hadaly is a great little atomizer I'd like a bit more distance from beefier coils.
If there isn't I am considering converting an Aeronaut to B/F, should be able to get a 3mm thread in the base of the positive post providing a good stainless pin is available.

To get some distance I use 510 heat sinks like these.I've also got a few longer drip tips Many of the velocity drippers are taller and have squonking pins, and so does the Maze RDA. I've done singles on these, using a transverse coil on the velocity and by blocking off the spare holes in the Maze. Like the sound of a converted aeronaut.

beedee I have tried longer DTs with a few different bore sizes but I didn't stick long with the ultra short atomisers I tried before. And dual coilers in single coil use just don't do it for me. to be honest Get Off My Cloud I don't really want a V2 Aeronaut even though it looks like the only option.

Yeah i can't think of any other single coil atties that are tall, the Tsunami is about the same height as the V1 Aeronaut but that's a dual coil atty that has the option of blocking off one side.

If you can get a 3mm pin in it you could get away with putting a saw cut down it. Done a few others like that and it works well. I say if you can cos Im sure the aeronaut has a blind bush in the 510 and screws together from inside the well?.

Can see where your coming from, stevef, though the velocity is pretty good with a single coil positioned with the airflow going over the top of, it does not match, for me anyway, a dedicated single coil with the airflow coming from below the coil. Hope you find find what your looking for If you do, tell us about it!

I'm thinking of tapping the positive, but if I could get along enough pin and a 3mm nut and a I suppose drilling it out and top fixing could be an option as the standard pin is threaded and is fixed by a hex head screw from the top.

You can put a vertical coil between the posts on a Velocity or Tsunami

I have an Inoy clone that is very long - even longer after I stuffed a Stingray drip tip into the chuff cap.
