Evening each I'm still having fun playing around with OBS Nano tanks. Still using pre-made coils from FT (and why not!) I'm still finding the wicking fun and frustrating....in equal measures.... I love being able to change juice more frequently (think of the cost saving on Cleito coils!!!) but still think, even following the less is more principle, that I am trying to jam too much wick in.... I bought some of that organic cotton "puff" stuff from Japan via the Luxembourg Tax Dodgers which arrived today....things taste better already.... Any further wicking anecdotes/advice, please?

Well...from my experience, every build, wire thickness, every tank, different vg and pg ratios, and your tastes will come into play. I have found every tank setup has a sweet spot. Just need to find it! Some tanks ive owned have needed a tight well packed wick...others have surprised me, needing the complete opposite. I dont own that tank so cant help...but keep experimenting and your nail it

BTW, i REALLY rate koh gen doh cotton lads for wicking. Ive tried nearly everything and this stuff has no taste to it...just pure flavour of the juice. Highly recommend it.

Still using pre-made coils from FT (and why not!) Love them myself! All that perfect roundness is a joy to behold . . . . so much so, I believe in keeping a good stock in.

If you're using a high VG ratio juice then brushing the cotton with a pair of elbow tweezers like these helps. Just cut your cotton as normal, feed it through the coil then use the point of the tweezers to brush the cotton legs from the coil to the end of the cotton legs, trim the fuzzy crap that collects at the ends off and job's a goodun. This thins the cotton legs out slightly and also drags the fibres in line so it wicks faster to the coil.

.. Any further wicking anecdotes/advice, please? You could always try an atomiser that is easy to wick. Three of mine that you can't go wrong with- Kayfun 5, Merlin and the Doggy. The Merlin is probably the most versatile as it can be used for any type of vaping and premade coils are simple to put in.
