...at least for non-savvy vapers.
By definition, sub-ohming requires large tanks and large volumes of dilute juice.
Those who aren't paying attention and who do not know how to mix their own juice are going to get caught out, methinks.
I'm probably not the first to say this, it just occurred to me watching the pre-TPD sales and seeing not only tanks going for pennies, but the coils that fit them too.
I've never been convinced by sub-ohming myself and they are often the ones blowing large clouds of vapour in public that give the rest of us a bad name. That said, I'm pretty much live and let live, so I take no pleasure in its demise.

I vape at 0.7 ohms so technically i sub ohm, but i dont use tanks, i much prefer drippers which will not be restricted. The nic will be the biggest problem i face.

Drippers are also caught by the TPD, and need notified/approved by the MHRA, etc. [ETA] Some suppliers have applied for ECIDs for their drippers, including Tsunami and SQuape X

Sub ohming definitely does not require large tanks.

Well I'm one that gives use all a bad name and I love my 7ml herakles RTA2's. I'll never convert back to mtl whispy vaping even if I break all my beautiful tanks. Luckily I've had chance to stock up on my nic so I should be ok whatever happens. The whole tpd and its restrictions are just a load of crap imo and just another control by the corrupt governments of this world we live in. Imo the nic I think will get policed pretty hard but I'll be surprised if we can't get decent sized tanks through from china still

Seriously no. I've just put my order in for a 6ml tank to shove it to the man!! Pathetic legislations. The fact they have changed the volume of tanks and juice is pointless. I recently built a frankenatty monster v2 with kayfun chimney and extra tank bits it must hold about 15ml I reckon!!haha. Am I going to be arrested? ;-p

Like Postmodern Smoking says new and existing manufacturers will require ECIDs which will hit small manufacturers the most with costs. What puzzles me is the part of the TPD that requires tanks,RTAs and RDAs to be leak free. I understand this means that they must be a top fill system. RDAs aren't considered top fill (?) so will not be allowed to be sold after May 20th ? Looking at this information www.eliquidflavourconcentrates.co.uk/tpd-info-elfc whilst making a purchase Very worrying if this is true?

The vast majority of vapers I now see around these parts are without exception . . . . subohmers and they don't all purchase from the internet. I have every confidence that they, manufacturer's will get ' creative ' in order to continue enjoying this form of vaping, whether that involves a large tank or not.

I know they can't sell tanks bigger than 2ml but I was thinking couldn't they get away with selling individual "spare" parts of tanks? Technically it wouldn't be a tank and they couldn't be held responsible for what the buyer does with those parts ie build a 4-6ml tank out of them.

Theoretically, they'll would still need approval amygx . . . . which won't happen, the reason why this kit is reduced: www.vapour.co.uk/aspire-atlantis-evo-extended-tank-kitBut it's a workaround that I imagine will be explored, perhaps marketed somewhat differently.

What surprised me recently is that I went away on holiday so I fished out my nautilus mini's for faff free vaping, and I struggled with the tight airflow so obviously my vaping style has changed. I might not like sub ohming 24/7 but I so like decent airlow facility so I've stocked up on some larger airier tanks
