My pre-TPD splurges now have a cupboard an entire "olde tobacc'y shoppe" (nudge nudge, wink, wink) of their own. Fixed up there. Vape on. This is the ' before ' of my pre-made eliquid selection . . . . 100ml Campfire Custard, that I'm hesitant to even try, 20ml Gin's Addiction and a part bottle of Snake Oil. The ' after ' looks rather different . . . . . .

We supported you emotionally at that very difficult moment in your DIY vs Premade career. ..and look where it's ended up! In all seriousness though... I think the AAEC family should congratulate themselves on rising to the challenge of helping rather previously-expensive e-liquid vendors get rid of their stock. They couldn't have done it without us. Some scruffy cloud-chasing oiks in hoodies would have grabbed it all had we not been so darn well organised. Respect to the AAEC shopping Ninjas.

Cheers for all the replies and participating in the poll everyone.
It seems most peoples storage habits are pretty much the same as my own.
The next time I knock up a strawberry mix I am going to make two bottles and steep one in the cupboard and one in the fridge and see if it makes a difference.
Although with all the juice I've bought lately that might be a while.

Does not steeping benefit from molecular activity though? i.e. why steeping usually involves regular shaking. Cooling a mix down will slow down interaction and hinder steeping I would have thought. Think I read that commercial steeping of e-juices can actually involve applying a gentle heat. Anyway look forward to the results of your experiment but my money is firmly on the cupboard stuff.

Yes it does, but I want to see if the strawberry flavour holds out longer in a refrigerator. Probably won't but worth a go. Another juice that imo doesn't benefit from a long steep is Rhodonite. After two weeks it's past it's best for me. So might try with that the next time I mix some up too.

Right that makes sense; so strictly speaking what you are doing in these cases is limiting or stopping steeping?

I'll steep them for a week in the cupboard first and then transfer them to the fridge. Maybe just a 3 day steep for the Rhodonite.
