Yes what a shame, I remember him more as The Saint though, when I was a kid my Mum always used to call me when he came on the telly coz I used to love him to bits as The Saint.
He did have a good innings though at 89 years. RIP Roger

I remember him as the Saint. It was a great program toots, but as my name is Bond I remember him best for that. He made a great James Bond, that will never be bettered.

Oh come on please, while I'm sorry to hear of his demise and liked him in the saint and with Tony Curtis in The Persuaders there was only one Bond, the original.

RIP Roger.
I've never been into Bond films, but remember him from The Saint.

I always looked upon him as the archetypal Englishman. He was also to me the best Bond ever, Connery included! Am I a dynasaur, or can anyone else remember him in Ivanhoe?

I remember him from the Saint but not Ivanhoe. A tad before my TV viewing days I think.
