Hi A few random questions for all you nic masters lol! I know VG is thicker than PG and that's fine :-)) My PG bottle of Nic was filled to the brim so there was no air in it (I know air is bad) but the bottle of VG had a gap of a bit over an inch. The inch would be air? Does that mean that the nic would be degraded? And/Or will it continue to degrade now I've decanted it into 100ml bottles? There are little teeny bubbles in the VG is this normal? Ta muchly x

... the bottle of VG had a gap of a bit over an inch. The inch would be air? Maybe, depends on supplier.... some use an inert gas on top. Does that mean that the nic would be degraded? And/Or will it continue to degrade now I've decanted it into 100ml bottles? Depends on how long it's been like that and how stored in bulk prior to bottling. All nicotine will degrade over time, what you've read are ways of reducing the rate of degradation. There are little teeny bubbles in the VG is this normal? Nothing strange for VG. Microbubbles in VG take for ages to settle out. [ETA] - If you are concerned.... just send your stash to me!!!

lesley1 If you store it in a cool dark place, it shouldn't go quickly off.... just better for LONG TERM storage to get it in a freezer as soon as you are able. (If it's any consolation my stash has air in the top of the glass bottles and has also yet to find its way into someones freezer... [My fridge-freezer just has an icebox!])

An icebox compartment at the top of my undercounter fridge. A bit personal!! .... oh, my nicotine! ... Have about 5kg between my brother and I... Hmmm, I should get him to put it in his freezer! How long can you keep VG nic in the freezer for? Hopefully many years.... but we're going into fairly unknown territory. (Nicotine strength will gradually reduce, slightly, as well as a risk of slight pepper taste) [ETA] I think Perpetua has used some old frozen nicotine in VG, not sure how many years.

I see no reason for this not to be indefinitely providing it's stored correctly ( to the best of our collective knowledge ) . . . . . although I do anticipate the strength lessening the longer it's kept.
