... and it's bl**dy great! Am I missing the News: Nope... Totally depressing with 'so called' leaders acting like schoolyard bullies, 'mine's bigger than yours'. Pathetic kids, but it's us that suffer. Politicians tearing strips out of each other so that they can gain power and up their future income potential. Am I missing the Soaps: Nope... They've become totally ridiculous. Come back Alec Gilroy RIP. Am I missing the Entertainment: What entertainment?... Amanda flashing her **** on BGT? About the only highlight. It's a conscious decision, to just 'switch off', and get back to what matters. So, at the moment, I'm sat outside in the sunshine, listening to YouTube tracks of the 60/70s, and even Glenn Miller, and watching blackbirds, wrens, bluetits and thrushes singing away above me in the bushes and trees. You know it makes sense... enjoy YOUR time, and not anyone elses.

Couldn't tell you the last time my telly was used, it's only on if the kid is home and puts it on so rarely these days. Used to my own voice and peace and quiet now, been like that for as long as I can remember now. Summer is up the yard til late preferably til dark and then home on the pc and bed.

Been like that for a long while Raffles . I do have a tv but only watch the news in the morning before work and the occasional film, dvd or sporting event. Probably around 10 hours a week. I know a lot of people who set their lives around tv and have to watch at certain times every day. Any programme I have to watch such as the recent series of Line of Duty I watch via iPlayer when I want. Find myself now mainly on pc or reading in the house with BBC radio 2/4 or 5 on. I do recommend cordless headphones - great for listening to the radio or music whilst coil building or mixing

A lot of garbage is now shown on TV but honestly I couldn't live without my game of thrones, the walking dead and the blue planet stuff.
