iPower 80 Locking problems

I have 4 iPower 80's and I can lock 2 of them. The 2 I have just started using I cannot lock them, any tips?

Normal hold up and down buttons at the same time for 2 or more seconds

Been trying that all day, no progress. Funny thing is the other 2 lock.

Not sure then mate thats one of the reasons i like the eleaf mods is because they lock. As i have used others that don't and its turned itself up and a blast 
of 200w dont do your coil or your lungs a lot of good

Honestly, I can't be doing with a minor something like this if it doesn't affect my use of a device tsoko - I never bother locking any of mine.

But that's me, I've a cavalier attitude to many things which are more of a concern to others.

Just the way I'm built.

I get totally what you are saying Perpetua but for me it can be the make or break of a mod, As at work mine get sat in a ashtray and the 
shaking about can hit the buttons and change all the settings   Had this happen a few times now and as i just grab it and go for a quick toot 
it can err well wake you up very quickly at 200w or so

My work devices are just jammed into my uniform pockets, none are locked . . . . each to their own as in all things @broadblaster .

Yeh... what is lock anyway?

I guess if I wanted to do it and couldn't work it out, it'd be guaranteed meltdown in my obsessive personality that wouldn't end well.

tsoko - are they firmware upgradable ? If so you could always try and go through the process (even if you have the most up to date version) to see if it makes a difference.

Edited to add - If I've just looked at the correct online manual, pressing the up and down together and holding for a few seconds when powered on should lock it, but pressing and holding them when the mod is powered off should flip the screen .....

... so out of curiosity ...... have you tried flipping the screen and if so did it work.
