Hmmm well I threw all mine away before as tc done my head right in,but as I've got a DNA250 coming and an rda I think I might try ss again. Hopefully it won't end up in tears again like the last like thousand times and a hundred wires I tried.

jtc I use ss in vw mode, it is about half the resistance of kanthal and allows a good sized coil with the sort of resistance I like.

Boughted some but will probably blow my head off. Need tutes but I got an ace windy tool that dagl forced me to buy recommended. Doing my own coils in no time

If I'm looking for 0.5 resistance which wire/awg should I go for? It's for a Hadaly clone and a Geekvape Merlin

7 wraps of 0.4mm (26awg) 316L around a 3mm is one way.

There are many ways depending on wire material and thickness.

Which stainless is best?? 316 or 316l?? Whats the difference?

I think 316L has more molybdenum which makes it hardier

tried both, liked both, I found quite lot of mods prefer 316L for a more 'accurate' temp control if you're planning on using that?
