chesty cough

For the last few months I've had a very chesty cough bringing up a lot of white flem, I was using a 12mg of nicotine and in the last month have changed to 8 mg but I am still coughing up flem, does anyone else have this problem? I would appreciate any advice, thanks Jamesrd

Tho I aint no Doctor, its more than likely just a bug youve picked up rather than vape related.
Ive just had 3 weeks of a dry cough from hell brought on by a cold.

Yes I've just got over like a 2 months chest and throat infection. Every time I get ill I still think it's the vape but when everyone else at work gets it at the same around about time it can't be . I'm vaping the same juices now and I'm perfectly fine.
I even ended up in hospital and the docs said that no way was it vaping and that I'd picked up something viral.
It just seems the obvious thing it must be but usually isn't

Not coughing up anything but have come to the realisation finally that too much PG makes me catch my breath, wheeze and cough, bearing in mind I have a load of random TPD bargain liquids to get through at 30 and 40pg I guess I'm going to have to live with it a good while longer yet, irritating though it is. Luckily my DIY I had started to go over to heavy VG anyway so the majority of those still steeping will be better for me.

Coughing up anything for longer than a couple of wks would see me straight down the docs with my families history regardless of whether it is wasting their time with a viral that's just hanging around, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

jamesrd . . . . did you ever get to see your Doctor, as this appears to have been an issue for a time for you?

Worth a visit to eliminate any possible underlying health problems I would have thought . . . . then you can move on to trying different different VG/PG ratios to address this.

I have had 7 antibiotics and umpteen courses of steroids since last October
still hasn't cleared it up now waiting on results of an xray.
I initially thought it was the vaping that caused it but not so sure now.

thank you all for your messages and advice, I am sure it is vaping which is causing my cough as when I get up in the morning after 7/8 hours sleep there is no cough, as soon as I start vaping I have my first cough and then about 5/6 times a day bringing a lot of white flem up each time, I do intend to start using an 80-20 vg mix and see if that makes a difference, once again thank you all. jamesrd
