The Taifun BT RTA uses the same kind of setup but on a tank with steel rope wick.



Cthulhumod have used the same mesh concept just in a dripper.

I haven't bought anything vape related for at least 4 months but that made the old grey matter turn over.
The only minus that comes to mind is hot spots.....surely you're gonna have fun getting it to heat up evenly?

no, you're right, as a MTL vaper I don't appreciate it at all apart from comedy value....with all that cotton in there t looks like you're trying to corral a sheep

You are going to need deep pockets unless you mix your own juice - 5 pipettes of juice went into that cotton, and I bet it won't last long either with all that contact area. Does look tempting though . . .

Mesh had its day back in 2011/12.
Same old problems. Poor wicking, hot spots. Totally unreliable. You'd never go out with a mesh set up. It might not last to the end of the driveway.
It was sh1t then it'll be sh1t now.
If designers think they can turn back the clock and bring out a lousy product coz they've run out of ideas good luck to them.
But then again I expect there're banking on some poor unsuspecting souls parting with their cash just coz it's the latest and greatest. Not.

I went down the mesh route with a cobra and gawd did that thing do my head in. They can keep that monstrosity

Id read with the taifun BT even with a low builds of .18 with this set up it vapes like .5 at 25w.
You must have to hit it with 200w to get an rda experience with it.
