At the moment I use a Puff diddy tank on my Tornado bat. It's fine for me most of the time but I can't use it on my GD 5v box mod as it just gives a burnt taste. If I buy standard boge XL cartos and a hole punch will this work with my tank? Ta

...presumaby this is due to the Dual Coils being too low res to use at 5v?

Macca, the DC's are usually 1.5ohm so as Perpy says, a 5v, Lindsey is trying to run them on too high a voltage.

Thanks, thought so, they're 1.5 ohm. Will standard XL cartos (punched myself) be okay with the Puff Diddy tank? or do they need to have that little rim on?

But not too sure about DC's usually being 1.5 ohm.. www.ecigwizard.com/shop/en/cartomisers/181-dual-coil-cartomiser.html1.5 may be the most common variety for 3.3 volt vaping.

to give you a similar vaping experience as the tornado on your 5v box i would go for the 2.5ohm cartos. you don't necessarily need the little rim on them as its only function is to stop the tank moving down the carto.
